1. CASHIER
As the first and last point of contact for customers, cashiers ensure an excellent shopping experience by providing friendly, efficient, and accurate checkout services. Responsibilities include handling cash and card transactions, resolving minor customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean workstation. This position involves extended periods of standing and requires the ability to lift and carry heavy items as part of its regular responsibilities.
Qualities: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
2. BUTCHER
Our butchers play a vital role in preparing high-quality halal meat products. Tasks include cutting, grinding, and packaging meat while adhering to halal and hygiene standards. They also assist customers with selecting and customizing cuts. This position involves extended periods of standing and requires the ability to lift and carry heavy items as part of its regular responsibilities.
Qualities: Knowledge of meat preparation, attention to detail, and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
3. DELI ASSOCIATE
Deli associates prepare and serve fresh deli products, including cheeses, olives, and meats. Responsibilities include slicing, weighing, and packaging items, as well as providing excellent customer service. This position involves extended periods of standing and requires the ability to lift and carry heavy items as part of its regular responsibilities.
Qualities: Strong customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety practices.
4. PRODUCE ASSOCIATE
Ensure the produce section is well-stocked, fresh, and appealing. Tasks include inspecting produce for quality, restocking displays, and assisting customers with their selections. This position involves extended periods of standing and requires the ability to lift and carry heavy items as part of its regular responsibilities.
Qualities: Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and passion for fresh, quality produce.
5. STOCK ASSOCIATE (STOCK BOY)
Maintain well-stocked shelves by unpacking and organizing deliveries and ensuring products are displayed neatly and correctly. They also assist customers in finding items. This position involves extended periods of standing and requires the ability to lift and carry heavy items as part of its regular responsibilities.
Qualities: Physical stamina, attention to detail, and reliability.
6. HOME & DECOR SPECIALIST
Help customers select home goods and decor items, ensuring the department is organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing. Provide product knowledge and create a welcoming shopping environment. This position involves extended periods of standing and requires the ability to lift and carry heavy items as part of its regular responsibilities.
Qualities: Creativity, strong customer service skills, and attention to trends in home & decor.
7. FLOOR PERSON
Floor persons play a key role in maintaining order and smooth operations throughout the store. Their primary responsibility is to ensure a seamless checkout experience for customers by managing the checkout lines. This includes:
Guiding customers to the next available cashier.
Organizing and maintaining the "one line rule" to ensure fairness and prevent line skipping.
Assisting customers by carrying out baskets and shopping carts as needed.
Keeping the shopping area and floors clear of debris for a clean and safe environment.
This position involves extended periods of standing and requires the ability to lift and carry heavy items as part of its regular responsibilities.
Qualities: Flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to stay calm and organized during busy periods.
8. SEASONAL HELP
Seasonal team members provide extra support during busy times, such as Ramadan or the holidays. Tasks may include stocking, cashiering, or assisting with events and promotions. This position involves extended periods of standing and requires the ability to lift and carry heavy items as part of its regular responsibilities.
